Kurt Mair 1993 Etching of Figures

A 1993 etching by the German artist Kurt Mair (born 1954). This abstract work depicts a group of nude figures standing in front of the words "Selb Drift." Displayed in a wooden frame and a white mat, the print is signed, dated, and numbered 8/40 to the lower edge.

Born in Mengen, Germany, Mair studied art at the Education College of Lôrrach and then went on to study art and archaeology at the University of Freiburg. He continued his education at the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg, where he studied engraving and lithography. He has exhibited throughout Europe and currently resides in Italy.
