A 1975 abstract ink drawing by American artist Russell Forester (1920-2002). This piece features very short, fine lines that come together to make an abstract pattern. Displayed in a white frame, the drawing is signed and dated to the lower edge.
Born and raised in La Jolla, California, Russell Forrester relocated to study under Mies van der Rohe at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He returned to California to open a modernist architecture practice, designing homes and businesses in the San Diego area.
